The Robust Fruit Holder is a banana hook and bowl connected to a lazy Susan assembly. Its goal is to make fruit accessible in a functional way, while consolidating different kitchen components.

The goals for this project are to provide functionality and be astatically pleasing. The functionality comes from the components being attached to a lazy Susan assembly. The assembly works by having pin and wheel connectors attached to a base that doesn’t move.

Those connectors allow the top, where the banana hook and bowl are attached, to freely rotate 360 degrees. The 3d printed version of this project is to provide a scale model so that it can be recreated for actual use. The models are made to real scale, so when they get printed, they are scaled down. With a big enough printer, the fruit holder can be printed to scale and should work. With strong enough infill, the banana hook should be able to hold weight.
